Hi there, I'm Amy Patterson and as part of the Mindful Focus team I'm excited to introduce the latest addition to the Radio Southland line up. Mindful Focus is presented by myself, Richard, Richard and Lephi at 7.30pm Wednesday nights and replayed Friday at 10.00am.We hope to entertain you with an upbeat approach to living life with mental illness, not just form a sufferers point of view as we will also be inviting family, friends and industry professionals, who support people in search of mental and emotional wellness, to share aswell.

Our focus will be on the srtengths and courage required to place a firm standing on the road to sustainable recovery, and find acceptance, belonging and connections for all the members of our community who suffer from mental health difficulties and the wonderful people who support them every day to strive for a life that encompasses balance, wellbeing and positive involvement in our society.

(From Richard)

So join us each week as we unravel the mysteries of mental health and how we can all have our part in developing an attitude of wellbeing for ourselves and the people in our community who plug away each day to overcome the debilitating effects and beliefs of mental illness.
Your involvement as a listener or a contributor to the shows content could be the catalyst to someone you know, living with a sense of hope and encouragement towards growth and happiness in the walk towards their goals and dreams. Tune into our show on your local community station and be part of our vision to help support the people Ive come to love.
